What types of accommodations are available?

Lake Simtustus Resort offers full-hookup RV sites, dry camping sites, and furnished tiny home and RV rentals.

All guests bringing their own RV or camper must have a fully self-contained recreational vehicle with onboard sleeping accommodations and contained water and wastewater systems. Tent camping, car camping, rooftop tents, and other non-self-contained camping setups are not permitted.

What is the difference between a full-hookup RV site and a dry camping site?

Our full-hookup RV sites provide water, sewer, and electrical hookups at the site.

Our dry camping sites are designed for fully self-contained RVs, camper vans, and Sprinter-style vans and do not have individual water, sewer, or electrical hookups.

Guests staying in dry camping sites have access to the Resort’s designated fresh-water fill area and dump station during their stay.

Do you allow tents or car camping?

No. Lake Simtustus Resort does not allow tent camping, car camping, rooftop tents, or sleeping in vehicles that are not fully self-contained recreational vehicles.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Lake Simtustus Resort is pet-friendly. A maximum of three pets per reservation is permitted. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after, and may not be left unattended or tied to utility hookups.

Pet policies for furnished rentals may vary, so please review your individual accommodation details when booking.

What is included with a furnished rental?

Our furnished tiny homes and RV rentals provide sleeping accommodations, a private bathroom, kitchen or cooking area, and basic kitchen supplies. Amenities vary by unit, so please review the individual rental listing for specific features and what's included with your stay.

Can I bring my boat?

Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own boats. Boats must be kept in an assigned moorage slip rather than at your RV site or rental accommodation. Trailer storage is available in the designated area.

Moorage is limited, so we recommend reserving a slip in advance.

Do you offer boat and watercraft rentals?

Yes. Lake Simtustus Resort offers seasonal pontoon boat, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and other non-motorized watercraft rentals.

Rental availability can be limited during weekends and peak summer dates, so advance reservations are recommended.

What amenities are available at the Resort?

Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site amenities, including our marina, swimming area, sauna, pickleball court, 5-hole putting green, playground, dog park, and watercraft rentals.

Firewood and ice are also available for purchase at the Resort. Some amenities and rentals are seasonal.

Can I have a campfire?

Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings when current fire restrictions allow. Fire restrictions can change throughout the season, and all guests must follow posted Resort and local fire-safety requirements.

Fireworks are not permitted.

Is Wi-Fi and cell service available?

Guest Wi-Fi is available at the Resort. Because Lake Simtustus is located in a remote canyon, cellular service can be limited, and Wi-Fi performance may vary depending on your location within the property.

We recommend enabling Wi-Fi Calling on your phone before your stay.

Is Lake Simtustus Resort open for public day use?

No. Lake Simtustus Resort is a private resort for registered guests and their approved visitors. We do not offer general public day use.

Visitors of registered guests must check in with the Resort office.

What time is check-out?

Check-out for RV sites is 12:00 PM.

Check-out for Glamping, furnished RV and tiny home rentals is 11:00 AM.

Please refer to your reservation confirmation for check-in information and additional arrival instructions.

Where can I find your Resort policies and cancellation information?

Our current reservation, cancellation, pet, occupancy, and Resort policies are available in our Terms & Conditions. We recommend reviewing them before completing your reservation.
